The Sleepy Lagoon sits right on the beach, and faces the tranquil Padang bay. It blends in superbly with its surroundings, as it's built using traditional materials - coconut wood, bamboo, grass roof, and local stone. Care in design ensures good ventilation, cool breezes and fantastic views. It provides simple but comfortable accommodation.
The spacious layout sleeps 4 adults with one queen sized bed downstairs & two single beds on the upstairs mezzanine.
The washroom is dual access - it's an en-suite downstairs with "upstairs guest" entry via the kitchen and south side. The cold water shower is open plan but in a discrete setting, with lovely views to the garden and coconut grove at the back. The toilet is western style.
A huge living area, two upstairs viewing decks, (one of them with bench top office space) and spacious verandah provide lots of places to relax.
Generator power is available in the evenings between 6pm and 10 pm. Small solar system powers 12v lights at other times, and also bedside fans.
